At this time, I am excited to welcome new online students from around the world!
I started the playing the violin when I was 3 years old and believe that music lessons are for people of all ages! I draw from years of experience in working with renowned violin pedagogues across Canada, and am familiar with a variety of violin methodologies including Suzuki (step-by-step learning through immersion), Kodaly (naming notes through solfège), and Dalcroze (music through movement), which I incorporate into my weekly lessons. As a former early childhood educator working in a play-based program, I also enjoy integrating what I am have learnt and observed about child development in the early years. I have spent many of my music teaching career working in low-income and adaptive classrooms, and my goal is to make classical music accessible and inclusive for everyone.

I am currently pursuing my Master in Occupational Therapy with an interest in working with musicians and autistic learners of all ages in the future. I perform regularly with the Prince George Symphony Orchestra, and previously held the position of Principal 2nd Violin of the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra. Prior to that, I was a violin and viola teaching artist with Sistema New Brunswick, a social music program that aims to inspire children and youth to reach their full potential through learning and performing orchestral music.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about lessons. I look forward to hearing from you!
